![]() Stan left to his own devices on this project is honestly a good sign as it means that there are less heads for him to butt against. It doesn’t take long for Stan’s task force to gets whittled down to a one-man job after he blows the project’s entire budget on a business lunch at Benihana’s. Unfortunately, with Stan in charge of the task force it seems unlikely that he’ll let someone like Harriet Tubman make their way onto this inspirational piece of art. When the topic of renovation comes up, Hayley has plenty of ideas on how to make the mural more diverse and actually representative of America’s changing ideals. ![]() Stan is terrified of the idea that the community could be overrun with more Hayleys in the future, so he pushes hard for a Mural Restoration Task Force. ![]() If Langley Falls’ beloved art is left in shambles, then future generations will never learn of its message. Stan is quick to co-opt Hayley’s apathy into the fire that’s necessary to fix the mural. It’s a piece of history that very much fits the jumbled ideas of the community and it’s not hard to imagine Stan shouting out “loyntegresty” when the time arrives for a slogan. While this mural has never shown up in the series before, it’s still easy to picture Langley Falls when they first put it up. Whether the painting motivated individuals to never give up or merely posed as the backdrop for their first hand job, everyone has a special mural memory. Stan reminds everyone that this mural is a symbol of what the town is capable of and what it should aspire towards. ![]() Roger leads him on a chase, climbing up a rope, and then in an act of desperation, jumps down and pile drives Chaz on the head with his elbow, causing Chaz's head to explode from the impact, killing him (which Roger notes was unexpected).Stan proudly takes his fight to city hall where he’s pleased to learn that the rest of Langley Falls is just as broken up over the mural as he is. Roger tries to turn the tables but Chaz was ready for him and shoots Roger. Later with Chaz, Roger tries to break away but finds Chaz has captured Stan and orders Roger to kill him. He turns to find Stan he responds that he didn't give away the tape of Roger's activities because of Roger's original intention to be a good cop. Stan decides to turn Roger in as a dirty cop but Chaz gets word and orders Roger to take out Stan. Roger responds that he now feels like he has all the power he lacked before and likes it. Stan quickly observes Roger's actions and confronts him, telling him that Roger is acting dishonorably. Roger does so well, he comes under the eye of crooked cop Chaz Migliaccio who soon teaches Roger how to take advantage of his position. Things go poorly at first, but when Roger receives advice from Stan to give up, Roger admits he wishes he could be a real man like Stan and he helps him succeed in becoming a police officer. When they are mugged, Roger feels insecure about his manhood and joins the Langley Falls Police Academy. Plot: Roger and Francine plan a day of shopping while Stan is doing a stakeout.
